During the broadcast, the filmmakers explained that filming the brothers’ first encounter in fifteen years required discreetly installing rigged remote cameras inside the rehearsal space to avoid disturbing the moment. The duo spent six hours inside a non‑air‑conditioned portacabin, watching the footage on monitors to ensure the band felt as at ease as possible during their initial rehearsals.
“Our entire strategy was to go unseen,” Southern noted on air. “We mounted 12 to 14 cameras in the room and simply let them record. We had to shelter in a portacabin throughout the hot summer, and the crew—along with us—was invisible; we arrived before they did and left after they did.”
The pair carried out individual conversations with Liam and Noel before the rehearsals, again mid-tour, and as the run drew to a close, before uniting them for a joint interview toward the end of the tour once momentum had built.
