Omni emerged from Atlanta about a decade ago with Deluxe, their debut album that propelled them to the forefront of a renewed interest in post-punk. Today the band issues a 10th‑anniversary deluxe edition of Deluxe to commemorate the milestone. This two-disc collection assembles the ten original tracks alongside their demo versions, plus the 2017 singles “Fever Bass” and “Thesis” and two previously unreleased numbers, “Loud Talking” and “Coliseum.”
A video for “Coliseum” arrives today. It uses footage from the 1997 teardown of the Omni, the Atlanta arena that inspired the band’s name. Watch below.
