In July, SOB x RBE unveiled “Ten Summers,” their first track in seven years. The Vallejo, California rap crew had disbanded in 2019, and member Lul G faced arrest and was later sentenced to 21 years in a state prison on a first-degree murder charge. A reunion performance at the Back 2 The Bay festival in August was planned but canceled after organizers cited threats aimed at their team. Now, they’re revealing a new album titled From The Land.
From The Land is set to drop next month and serves as a follow-up to 2019’s Strictly Only Brothers. “Time allowed us to mature, become fathers, and pinpoint what truly matters. We never stopped being brothers,” the trio notes. SOB x RBE comprises Yhung T.O., DaBoii, and Slimmy B, and the record contains 13 tracks. The single “Someone” is already out with a video.
