Squeeze called off their scheduled show at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia after a member of the crew lost his life in a fatal accident connected to one of the band’s tour buses.
Emergency teams were dispatched to the venue’s parking area on Thursday (03.09.26) after the worker was crushed to death while performing maintenance beneath the vehicle.
Local authorities indicated that the unidentified man was underneath the bus when a support mechanism failed, allowing the vehicle to collapse onto him. He died at the scene.

They expressed that they were deeply saddened and shocked by the loss of life and explained that the decision to cancel followed discussions with the venue and authorities. Squeeze also noted that they would coordinate with promoters about a possible rescheduled date and would notify ticket holders once details were settled.

Wolf Trap issued its own statement, saying that a member of the community had died in an accident at the national park and that the evening’s show had been canceled out of respect.
The band’s next stop on their U.S. tour was the Rose Music Center in Huber Heights, Ohio, slated for that evening (04.09.26).
